On February 20, 2019, Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered his annual address to the Federal Assembly in the Old Merchant Court.
This year, the greatest emphasis was laid on the domestic policy issues that the citizens are most concerned about.
President Putin touched upon numerous issues and pointed out that one of the critical problems was the nation’s environmental impact. He called for a wider use of autogas as more and more municipal, government-funded, and utility companies as well as private vehicle owners are switching to nature-friendlier solutions.
President Putin urged businesses to actively take part in projects that would help expand the autogas market and to invest in creating a chain of fueling stations and autogas conversion systems that use natural gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG).
That is a fairly complex investment project, but it needs to be implemented because it will help reduce both fuel expenses and the nation’s environmental impact.
Why is the President so concerned about the autogas market? In fact, this is not the first time President Putin suggests that close attention be paid to this issue. Apart from the environmental aspect, this is probably because it would help reduce expenses for private vehicle owners, transportation companies, and carriers. In addition, it may be a significant restricting factor in the rising cost of living because transportation expenses are part of the cost of most products.
UGazz continues operating on the Russian autogas market and keeps working with government agencies, privately owned companies, and investors to implement the «Concept for Mass Autogas Conversion of Russian vehicles».
